I have a few spare HYW French museum figures laying around and I'm of a mind to add to them and make a mid low countries army for DBM. I know museum has two low countries figures, and I know Essex has many figures that would work but probably aren't a good fit sizewise. Can anyone else suggest figures that would mix well? Thanks. |

If the Museum HYW range are as large as their Hussites then I would be wary of mixing anyone else's figures. It would mean that some of the Hussite range would work with the Low Countries figures. OTOH, from what I remember, they aren't quite as big, but I haven't done a comparison. One of the figure types which you might have difficulty matching is a figure with plancon a picot/goedendag. Off the top of my head, Donnington, 15mm.co.uk, Black Hat and possibly Minifigs and Tin Soldier do a figure with one. Some are certainly too small to mix with Museum. Donnington might mix. My Low Countries are a bit earlier but may have some ideas for you, including a scratch built goedendag. link |

Hmm what about not mixing them in the same unit? Looking at these French they seem approximately the same as my Chariot High Elves. |

I think it'd be worth getting some Donnington samples to see what you think. Which Museum French figures are they? |

The Medieval Frenchies, they're for John's force at Poitiers. |
