Today I tried out the Pike and Shot rules from One Hour Wargames using paper figures from Junior General

Nice job on the figures and the game.

"I've heard tell of them, but not seen a battle report."

I've added a 'paper figures' tag to the bottom of the blog post. Click on that and, as well as posts about how I put the armies together, you'll find some reports from last year of games using paper armies for the South American Wars of Liberation.

Good post. Great combination (easiest rules with paper armies) to get someone new into gaming or for a gamer to try out a new period.

Very good job, and indeed paper figures are a great way to try out new periods.

Another game with the same figures – part of my attempt to play and document every scenario on One Hour Wargames in order.
