Hi All,

I'm looking for skirmish game character advancement/improvement rules for horses.

I thought a Wild West or fantasy game might have some but so far I've found none.

Little help?
Thanks

Classic DeadLands. (Piinacle Entertainment.) Rascals, Varmints, & Critters is the name of the book.

Probably still available in PDF form.

The Great Rail Wars is the miniatures game version of Deadlands, IIRC it still has traits for horses, but not so much character development.

And, of course, Savage Worlds is the Great Rail Wars re-RPG'd. Dunno if Pinnacle's got a version of their animal rules for SW, and wouldn't know where to look.

(Can you tell I preferred DeadLands?)

Hmmmm. I never actually thought of that before. In GUTSHOT we have different types of horses, and some are better at types of work than others. But I never actually thought about giving them an XP track, before.

DEFINITELY something to think about.
