The Montana class was totally omitted from the list. Iowa class with a 4th turret and just as fast.

Actually – the Montana's would have been slower by several knots. They would still have been scary to run into!

Generally, a pretty silly article. The author isn't very deep in the history and, for example, gives the Germans and Japanese waaay too much credit. And leaving out the Montanas is a very serious gaffe.

Most articles like these (Greatest this or that…) are usually silly and hopelessly incomplete.
