Hey guys, just put up a series of pics of some WWII late war German armour on the BP blog. Check them out and comment. On a side note, does anyone have an effective technique for photographing 6mm miniatures? My techniques which have been developed for other scales are lacking with such small minis.

With a digital camera, just zoom in until the miniature fills most of the frame and let the auto-focus feature do its work. Don't hold the camera too close. You can hold the camera several feet away and still get a good snapshot. Also, turn auto flash on or the picture may become too blurry.

Then just use a basic photo editing tool to crop away the dead space and adjust lighting, contrast, etc.

I usually tape a piece of paper over the flash to tone it down when I get close to the miniature.
