Oct 16-18, Dayton Ohio. We will fight Waterloo. Empire V rules
As of now we have 6, possibly 7 guys attending. We want more….
There are going to be some relatively big names from the napoleonic community participating. Everyone leaves with a memento.

This is going to be a blast. British players specifically are needed. If interested feel free to email me at jshelton22@att.net

Look forward to hearing from you…

Wish I could be there, I lived in Dayton (1996-2000) but the Air Force moved me away. I would consider driving up to attend but alas, I have other unchangeable plans for that weekend.

Sincerely,
Gavin

Oldmoustache: Would there be any chance of you posting some photos after the event? Since I can't be there it would be the next best thing. I don't have the computer knowledge to attempt anything like that maybe you do. Thanks either way, John Miller

Agree with all the posters above.

Scott is a GREAT person to game with!

He ran the French at Texicon and led a resounding French victory…he humbly offered to take whatever was left, but as the song says "I just handed my pinball crown to him".

Everybody wanted to see how he would approach running the French!

Even when some things went against the French, Scott kept his cool and found a way to win DECISIVELY.

Very enjoyable and a great guy to game with.

In spite of his accomplishments and stature in wargaming, Napoleonic history, and Civil War history, he is as down to earth a person as you will ever find.

Glad you guys up there got a chance to enjoy gaming with a man that has meant so much to so many gamers and historians over the years.

Hopefully he will take up the mantle again gaming in DFW.

I for one will help him any way I can.

Our experience was a grand one, and doesn't surprise me a bit that your experience was a wonderful one as well…

Frank
