Once again the lads at Breakthrough assault have done us proud, this week focussing on terrain:

I'm pleased that my concerns about modern roads and autobahns seem to be covered – the world will be spared my attempts at DIY!

Those roads alone are going to get my wallet open. They are superb.

Those roads are just your standard HO scale roads which are available from Busch or Noch (UK prices range from £5.00 GBP£9.00 GBP) and come in 1 or 2m lengths.

There are a few nice looking bits of new terrain there but most of that terrain is the existing range. I just wish BF would come up with some half decent hills, the rocky hill is totally rubbish.

On closer inspection cag19 may be right!

Save some money on the roads. Get a sheet of pvc shower tile underlayment from your local big box home improvement store, paint it black with acrylic paint, then cut to any size width and shape. Use a white marker to paint the traffic stripes.

For the buildings, just use piles of rubble. There wouldn't have been much else left.

I think the table looks great… I'm eager for them to make some nice more modern buildings !

A friend of mine showed me these tape roads, they are a nice solution I believe

but that table really looks pretty… Even though I'll stay n 6mm for my cold war gaming, my 15mm sci fi will love to get some flames of war love :)
