I have written my own version of the World War II rules in Neil Thomas's book entitled ONE-HOUR WARGAMES (See here = link for a copy of the rules). I managed to play-test my version of the rules today, and it produced a very interesting little battle. My battle report can be read here = link

Ditto Tango 2 3 (Tim), I am very pleased that you enjoyed reading this battle report. In answer to your questions: 1. The figures are 20mm-scale (as is the light tank) whereas the T-34 is an old ROCO 1:87th-scale model. 2. In Neil Thomas's rules units start with 15 points and count down, but I my game I made Militia units 10 points to represent their poorer quality. 3. The German mountain gun started life as an old Peter Laing 15mm-scale medium gun. PS. Sorry if this message appears twice but for some reason I keep getting an error message every time I 'submit' it. |
