I got the Frost Grave rules a few weeks ago, and they look interesting--but tell me about the aftermath. The game reminds me of Necromunda where, after you had played a few games your gang was either so powerful no one would play against you, or it had to be trashed. It still looks interesting though. |

Whemever1: I had the same problem playing Necromunda. I had an Esher gang and after winning about seven or eight games in a row they were so ridiculously overpowered that they weren't fun for anyone else to play against. Wasn't much fun for me either as there was no challenge. |

I can't say I really get the high gloss coating on the figures I know some people still like the look of that but to me, that always ruins a nice figure. Of course everybody has their own taste, looks like a fun game |

I never quite liked the Foundry nymphs on their website: maybe they were painted in a manner and with a skill I couldn't hope to emulate. I find ours to be much more attractive. Foundry doesn't seem to list them any more, though. Grelber |

New to the site, only joined cos my blog was reposted here, above. Frostgrave is a new direction for me and it is enjoyable and a good basis for quick game but needs campaign tweaking. I used the figures above because the rest of my collection is purely historical and I've had these for ages, hence the gloss varnish. |

My solution to the runaway leader is to have a copy of each warband that is 1st level and never gains xp. Let the low levels fight against those for a while and get beefed up, then bring out the big guns |
