I tend to work on terrain in bunches. This way, I avoid the boredom factor by working on several different pieces at once. I can flit from on to the other doing whatever strikes me at the time. I've got more of these pieces, if anyone's interested. More another day.

All of these will end up on my AWI battlefields

Here is a small pond I've been working on. Not finished yet but still working on it. Eventually, it will become part of a larger campscene.

Next is a ridge made from foam and bark. Stll needs trees, bushes and such.

And a small hill that is almost finished. I'm thinking that this and the ridge may end up in Saratoga.

Wonder work there, Nevinsrip! A great balance of colors and craftsmanship!

Please post some shots when you finish and placed on the table with your figures. This is the standard we should all work towards!

Your stone work with the bark is top-notch, fantastic realism, nicely done.

Beautiful pieces – a few sort of remind me of the bonsai tree displays we used to collect.

PentexRX801 Sep 2015 10:28 a.m. PST

Outstanding. How did you make the trees, leaves and stones?

hocklermp501 Sep 2015 10:28 a.m. PST

Outstanding modelling. Bark rock painting is superb. Wish you would consider a tutorial on these terrain pieces.
