"Fantasy Unit August Gnome's at Home" Topic

So a wet bank holiday here in the UK meant I managed to finish my Peter Pig 15mm gnome missile unit. The buttons are from China and I now have a small cities worth of mushroom buttons, rather than button mushrooms. The fencing is N scale railway fencing with a drybrush.

The Hand to hand troops are already done, The second picture shows the Thin Gnomish Line supporting them from the rear.

Next is a magician on his own mushroom, then a couple of Snail cavalry bases then they will be all painted. Not bad for an army that has been sitting around for 10 or so years waiting to be painted at this rate I might get the backlog down to 9 years.

I decided on a 40 by 30 basing to enable space for the mushrooms and fencing and like the roomy effect you get.

Very very different, I think your on a winner with these just for being unique.

I will contact you Martin, the figures have been painted to match some that someone else painted which I have so he deserves praise as well, but those need rebasing to match these…in fact I need to search the collection to find them as not seen them for ages lol.

Thanks Russ, it is different I don't own anything else like it…however I do need to paint a paired army any ideas welcome.
