Rosa Miniatures has now put their first four Victorian Science Fiction/Steampunk vehicles into production in 28mm 3D printing.

Two are historically based the Green is based on Sims early armored car and the Wellington on British WW1 heavy tanks.

The other two are from scratch designs. I designed the Franklin Walker for the Hive Queen and Country Universe and Knox also fits very well into the HQC kill alien bugs in vast numbers universe

All are $7.50 USD?

It looks like the three larger are 10.00 USD and the smaller armored car is 7.50.

Richard D30 Aug 2015 6:51 p.m. PST

The Greene is 7.50, the others are 10.00, and the complete set is $35.00 USD. I use a flat rate shipping of 6.00

Terry, I can't seem to resolve the second link in Firefox, M$IE, nor Chrome. Is it an image pre-processed, un- sanded, assembled and painted?

Richard D, do you have such images?

Thanks!

Doug

Let's try this

I do have some photos of the parts being assembled: I am putting together assembly instructions for the two large tanks, the Greene is three parts (body and two turrets), the Walker is one piece.

I asked Terry to post the photos is that for some reason I can not post photos or links on this page. It is a mystery which is still unsolved.

Thanks, Terry, but the first link was sufficient to have me 'View the image' and Cntl-+ to get a better look. ;->=

Richard, waiting on proverbial pins and needles…

Doug

Edit:

It is a mystery which is still unsolved.
Only kind worth having for the VSF crowd…

Not sure why these didn't post as photos but as a link :-(

Let me try…

I think the forum needs .jpg, maybe .png, at the very end to know it's an image.

Thanks BEASTIE!

So I've played with a couple of these in 28mm and with the 15mm version of all of these. The Franklin walker (which I designed and Richard decided to name) is basically one piece. It will show up ready to clean up and paint.

That 3D model was actually made by 3D scanning the kit bashed model master/resin cast production models I did in 15mm. Those have been uniformly well received ever time I put them on the game table. I anticipate that the 3D printed versions will be as well.

Compared to 30.00 each for Games Workshop Sentinels these are a steal at 7.00!

Now, Terry, one should NEVER compare to GW. That's setting the bar WAY too high. From a limbo point of view… ;->=

I figured by being quarter the price of games Workshop we have half of anything that is reasonably priced!
