To be honest, I am awfully stinkingly ignorant of the Napoleonic Wars, but who cares? I care about the SYW in America, and can bs my way through, and isn't that what it's all about? But I want to learn more about what Geo Washington wrought in Europe. Can you recommend any books, without too many confusing German names? |

Short version : Frederick the Great alienated enemies and allies alike during the previous war of the Austrian succession. Everyone in Europe except the British combined against him. He managed to hold them off until the Czarina Elizabeth died. |
