Nice write up. How did you convert the combat from D12 to D6? Two dice with one = odd add 6, even add 0?

Nothing that fancy for conversion. Went back to reducing fractions. For a D12 1-4 reading I changed it to a D6 1-2. For tweeners I rounded up. (Easier to hit.) I also created 4 range bands. I lost a little granularity but made up for it with easy of play. On some things I am not worried about modeling a 1/12 chance which is less than 10%. YMMV

No those are my kid's WIZ KIDS pirate ships. They are OOP now but I am sure you can get them on EBAY. They are big, sturdy and colorful. I would consider getting a couple of GHQ ships but without rat lines I think you are not getting your money's worth and rat lines are way too fiddly for me.
Played two RN 74s against 3 French. Played in light wind which slowed the french breakout. It was very fun.
