Does anybody know who sells horses for dismounted Napoleonic Cavalry like the Perry dismounted dragoons? USA preferable.
Thanks!

Could you not use the horses from their plastic French Dragoons pack? They are pretty cheap. Other manufacturers seem to do horses without the horse furniture.

The horses with the dragoons are very much in action poses. For the foot ones you need stationary and a horse holder. Ideal would be the Perry ACW figures, little work needed eg;

Foremost, sold by Hinchliffe, UK. In my opinion, Foremost produce the best 28MM horses.

What an interesting suggestion! They even do a dragoon horse standing……..

but are these not 25mm and noticeably small for Perry dragoons?

If not….brilliant.

In fact they are 25mm and exactly what I was planning to use for my dismounted dragoons. A bit smaller than Perry I should think but having read Paul Dawson's book on the French cavalry, I'm not sure that a slightly smaller horse wouldn't be closer to the horse size actually used by the French cavalry.
