Good Evening, I am planning on starting a new period, the 1920s, and wanted to know what wars were going on during the 1920s. So far I have:

Turkey/Greece
Russia/Poland
Third Afghan War
Banana Wars (US)
Warlords in China
Rif War (Spanish and French)

What am I missing, especially in the area of Colonial Wars.

Thanks Everyone

- The Russian Civil War ran until 1922 at least
- The Spartacist Revolt in Germany and the resulting border
clashes with Poland
- The Irish Civil War ran until 1923.

Syrian Revolt, put down so brutally that there's a district of Damascus known as "The Fire" to this day.

Phu Mi Bun rising in Indochina.

Fiume incidents -- D'Annunzio and all that.

Persians and Turks put down tribal revolts.

Mexican Revolution ends 1920 of course; Cristero War begins 1926.

Actions in the Trans-caucus was fought from Armenia to Georgia. Besides local national troops it included units from Britain, Russia, both sides and Turkey.

IIRC, there were some consolidation wars in South America that did not include the US.

The Russian Civil war dragged on well in the the early 20's.

Polish-Russian war is actually handy, because you can do both the Polish advance into Ukraine and the Soviet counter attack.

German civil war had plenty of action but on a smaller scale, in a lot of cases.
There's also Freikorp actions in the baltics.

If you don't mind going back to 1918/19, there's also the Finnish civil war and you can do a stint in Russia with the various allied intervention forces.

The Mob Prohibition Wars.

What I like about the twenties is there's a lot of WWI stuff and the planes are just a little more better.

The Kong-Broadway War?

Fu Manchu Incursions.

Labor/Corporate/Organised Crime War

The Great Gatsby/Lamont Cranston/Doc Savage/Tom Swift War
Now THAT"S a game/movie.

That "War of the Insane" would make for a great fantasy campaign.

While the Waziristan Campaign ended in 1920 the North-West Frontier, as always, saw constant skirmishing through the Twenties. This sometimes resulted in larger punitive operations including armoured vehicles and aircraft.

Irish Civil War 1922-23

Just coincidently, today is the 93rd anniversary of the death in an ambush of Michael Collins, Commander-in-Chief of the National Army.
