What happened to the British 15mm stock? They used to have Crusaders, but those aren't even on the web site anymore. I didn't see any Universal Carriers either. Are they being re-spun?

jameshammyhamilton22 Aug 2015 12:43 p.m. PST

PSC have not made a Crusader or Universal Carrier in 15mm yet. I suspect for the respun comment you are thinking of a manufacturer of metal miniatures.

Order placed yesterday, received today! Is that service or what?

James, I know nothing about the miniature making process, whether it's plastic or metal.

I just know that occasionally a model will be temporarily discontinued while they redo the tooling (I guess due to wear?)

Since they make the Crusaders in 1/72 I figured they had them in 15mm (and thought I had seen them in 15mm before).

Well, if anyone from PSC or Zvezda is monitoring this board then you know what you can add to the wish list (along with some Portee's). A few of us are starting to get into the 8th Army and, being Yankees, I would think these models would be popular with the UK customers as well.

Cheers!

PSC don't make Crusaders in 1/72nd scale. The Crusader they sell the S model one which is made by someone else.

I am not aware of any plastic models being discontinued. It happens with metals from time to time but the moulds for plastics are I understand very robust.

I think there is a reasonable chance that in the future there could be a 15mm Crusader but at the moment that is not as far as I can see it going to be in the immediate future.

What there will be very soon is an A9/A10 kit so there is a decent chance of more desert stuff.
