I do. 1/600 minis by Oddzial Osmy (O8) in 1:1 ratio. I use Tank Wreck and have been experimenting with Fields of Fire and FFT3. Until Russia's resurgence, the Korean penninsula is the most likely place for a large scale armor conflict. |

Picked up some 6mm for this very purpose at The Joy of Six. GHQ and H&R. |

Some one is not getting the attention he desires……so, a little "sabre rattling". |

Why not take some of the actual battles from the Korean War, update the orbats and try them out in modern day. |

If you are looking for modern books on combat in Korea then try; Red Phoenix by Larry Bond and 38 North Yankee by Ed Ruggero both very good. 38 North Yankee is the best out of both, Larry Bond's book is still a good read but in one part of the book he has a US Marine Corps Colonel leading a bayonet attack so you have to take some of this with a grain of salt. But over all should provide you with decent ideas for gaming. |

There's another pretty decent novel out there who's title and author I'm drawing a blank on – I think it's "Armored Corps" by Pete Callahan – but I'll have to dig it up at home tonight. But it's sort of like Team Yankee in that it covers the action of one company for a small part of the overall war, so it's very focused. Has a bit of melodrama to it in the dynamics of a small unit, but it's bearable. Some great tank on tank action. Edit – oh and I'm going to game it in 6mm (at least), plus the air aspects of it 1/600. Looking to Sabresquadron for 6mm, C21 for the air. |

Tomorrow's War, actually for the ground combat. The US Army has deployed a (still primitive) Grid system in Stryker units (maybe others, my friend was a Stryker platoon leader and then company XO). 15mm infantry, mostly from Khurasan, but I haven't seen any RoK troops with the K11:
Also missing K1 and K2 tank models, as well as K21 IFV models. I'd game any air combat in 1/600. |
