I've been bitten by the "retro-virus" and have picked up Counterblast, Retro Raygun and War Rocket. My problem is that for the sake of my marriage I only model in 15mm, and of course Counterblast and Retro Raygun are 30mm…

Is there anyone who makes 15mm retro sci-fi miniatures along the lines of Flash Gordon or Buck Rodgers?

Regards,

Scott Chisholm

Astro miniatures does old star trek proxies….but that's not as retro as you probably are thinking

I would like to see 15mm Flash Gordon style figures. Have a lot of 15mm.co.uk stuff and those are probably closest to it,but not close enough.

Rebel has Nemo's crew in hard diving suits and superheroes that might do for Flash and a supervillain. Old Glory or someone has 15mm Superfigs.

Some of the "high tech" infantry types out there can look very retro with hte right paint jobs. Bright colours, some silver, you'd be amazed at how "cartoon" a GZG trooper can look.

Yeah, I 'fourth' the Laserburn range.

Lazerburn and Blue Moon plus "what Weasel said" for example most of Critical Mass Games alien races look pretty retro scifi with the right paintjob. Also don't be afraid to go shopping in other scales for cool stuff.

For example here's a little retro scifi force I made a few years ago

Infantry is Blue Moon Idirion legion, vehicle crews are 15mm.co.uk lazerburn law officers ,jetbikes are from the Scene and the mecha are 28mm power armor from GZG.
The mini's to do retro scifi are out there but they are not all in one spot, you have to go look for them.

Mike at rebel minis has some great ones.

Khurasan has some great 50's bad guys that painted right would work, and pulp things as well.

Thanks for all the replies! Laserburn, Blue Moon and Astro miniatures have been on my radar. I'll need to visit some of these others.

Perhaps Bombshell will makes some of their Counterblast miniatures into MicroBabes….
