Blooming IT………….

Look, my first message was this;

A nice view of the Westfalia British General, here in the carriage that was meant to go with the Tsar.

It certainly works well though.

I suspect the passersby are 27th Foot, Inniskillings, to judge by buff facings and the flags. The two making "the" gesture are ….brave…..at best. A good flogging could follow something done so openly, in 1815

I spent the weekend modifying this coach into a post chaise, to carry Percy and a Naval Captain, with two eagles and the Waterloo Dispatch. Plus the curricle…almost done.

But this is good! I'll show mine in a few days

I wish I had thought to just paint the cobbles onto the horse bases. I chopped mine back to the hooves, drilled holes in the bases and filled with Greenstuff……….took ages!

Hi Deadhead ,

this is my effort , I picked up the officer and carriage at Salute this year , when I got home I found that I had been given the wrong carriage. Luckily they went together well :) . You are right about the 27th. The cobbled surface I picked up in a model shop in Hereford , I think it was more aimed at trains but fitted the bill. It has a textured surface and has a sticky backing . Look forward to your next effort

What about that emblem on the opened door then!

I just did a simple silver Russian Romanov Eagle on mine. Really impressive work! What is the heraldry telling us?
