For me, it's a bag of Frontier Chasseurs d'Afrique. It turns up every now and then. But instead of putting it where I can do something with it, I make a mental note where it is, and keep on looking for what I am looking for. I am certain that the same thing will happen as I search for Don Quixote for Zippy. What's yours? Lost but you have a vague idea where it is. |

I could only turn up half of my old Grenadier & Heritage fantasy minis I wanted for Frostgrave. I suspect the rest are still boxed up in a cabinet at my folk's place. I hope. My signature move is: -Miniatures sit in one well-remembered/labelled location/container for 4d6 years. -I run across them and dig them out , thinking, "I'll be needing these in a week or so, when I put the finishing touches on [current project]". -In a week or so, I go looking for them. They finally turn up again d100 days later. |

I know I have an offending pack of miniatures, but I can't even remember what they are. I will surprise myself when I accidentally find them again, whatever they are. |

I've lost a master sculpt of a replica 1714 8-escudo gold coin somewhere in my room. Probably got tucked between some papers. Yay! A real treasure hunt! ;-) |

I don't need to know where anything in the house is. I ask my wife. She knows. It's a perfectly fair deal. She takes it out in trade. She doesn't have to learn elementary computer trouble-shooting, because I take care of that. "Honey, the internet is broken again!" |

Missing in action: my flocking, some rpg modules, and a CD of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. |

Currently missing a 1/100th scale model of a Staghound SAM missile and launcher…. Most of my minis are all in the same place, although today I did to a "What the hell are THESE?" shout when I opened up a bag and saw figures…. |

I recuse myself from the discussion. We moved last fall and I am still building shelves for the books, games, and wargame figures. I know the Old Glory Mexican peasant civilian woman who is longing to have her pistol hand cut off and a hand winging a small piglet around grafted on is in one of the boxes. Somewhere. |

I lost the first two packs of Bolt Action dice that I had bought. Just Poof! Gone. Tore the house apart looking for them, found some stuff I forgot I had, but those dice really left town. So I bought some more. Now, that would usually be the time when the missing item would fall into my lap, but not this time. |

Found a bottle of tulllamore dew from about 11 years ago, does that count? |

"Honey, the internet is broken again!" My daughter is great with any software or phone app, she a teenager and is constantly saying to me "don't you know how…" except when there's a paper jam, then I seem to be the only one proficient to clear it. |
