Has anyone been in touch with Jez at Old Crow? I have been unable to get a hold of him for some time now.

Someone asked the same question month or two ago. I believe the answer was that he is still around, but very slow to fill orders.

Mako1111 Aug 2015 9:33 p.m. PST

I think he is, as mentioned above.

Sadly, the old site catalog with all the info, pricing, etc. is gone.

it's out of date
but I like to use it to window shop

He has great stuff, sad for all of us his real job is taking up all his time, which by the way his good for him! sort of a catch 22!

PilGrim12 Aug 2015 8:11 a.m. PST

I ordered a couple of months ago and the service was fast and smooth – got the toys within a week

I have gotten everything in the time he told me it would be. It is excellent product and Jez is a great guy to deal with.

Thanks,

Pat

Sorry for the non-commercial commercial message, but both the Wayback (archive dot org) and Wikipedia shill for donations from time to time.

Each has received funds from me; if you find lost links like the one above REALLY useful, consider a donation to the Wayback.

Back to your forum, already in progress!

I'd probably have a lot less money if Old Crow was running full tilt.

Twoball Cane12 Aug 2015 4:53 p.m. PST

I bought from him once a year ago. Still had the same homepage as now. I used wayback machine link……picked the things I wanted, emailed oldcrow….and got my stuff a few weeks later…… Painless

Yes, just contact Jez direct – sales@oldcrowmodels.co.uk He'll take care of you …

I don't see the 6mm Hammer's Slammers stuff on Wayback. Anyone have a link? Does he still make them?

John Treadaway14 Aug 2015 6:03 a.m. PST

Allen57

To my knowledge they were never on the site (all part of the problem I'm afraid).

You can reference pics of them here hammers-slammers.com/6mm.htm if it helps and ask him for what he has, I would guess.

EDIT – there is link on the page on my Slammers site to what was a page on Old Crow for 6mm Slammers but it now gets a 404

Hmmmm I really do need to pick up another 15mm Trojan Light APC…

John Treadaway15 Aug 2015 2:33 a.m. PST

TNE2300 yep: that looks like the page that my link originally went to, judging by the adress.

I'm glad it can still be accessed: it's still the only way to buy 6mm Slammers, at least for the time being.

You should know that Slammers Jeeps were also available (but not on that old page).

Wish Jez would help these guys out and actually get someone to run his site as well as the business … I got my 6mm Slammer jeeps from a gent here who had some extras. To finish up my 6mm Slammer TF …

Covert Walrus15 Aug 2015 7:43 p.m. PST

Been a while since I made an order, but given how he's working in the movie props business, I'm willing to be a little patient. Though what I ordered was a little exotic . . .

Frostie19 Aug 2015 5:34 a.m. PST

I'm after 6mm Hammers, I have some blowers and a couple of SPGs but not enough for y needs.

Hopefully he can help.

darebear20 Aug 2015 3:27 a.m. PST

Been trying for a month now. No luck. Man Tears will be flowing soon.

John Treadaway20 Aug 2015 10:45 a.m. PST

Fortunately there are now alot of alternative suppliers of 1/100th and even 1/300th SF vehicles than there were a devade ago.

What I really want is his 6mm buildings. There is a lot of selection there and I have not seen anything similar anywhere else.

John Treadaway21 Aug 2015 9:20 a.m. PST

Draebear

and these angelbarracks.co.uk/scenery.html

John you forgot link

With all their former GZG's Glory.

Covert Walrus05 Sep 2015 3:50 p.m. PST

John, not making specific vehicles to match what I have though :)

Well, there's a possibility that like last year with EDGE OF TOMORROW, Jez is tied up making props for some little movie being made in England at the present. Wonder which one would be so intensive of equipment? :)

darebear08 Sep 2015 8:23 a.m. PST

Thanks for the info guys. Been trying to get in touch with Jez for almost two months now. I will check those GZG buildings out.

AVAMANGO08 Sep 2015 8:56 a.m. PST

I think those new 6mm Advanced buildings from Brigade models look to be a very close match to the OldCrow 6mm range. Zac

Thanks for the info guys. Been trying to get in touch with Jez for almost two months now. I will check those GZG buildings out.

That's what I was afraid of, I started a similar thread a few days ago where I hoped that he just was taking a break since it's been almost two weeks that he hasn't answered to my emails, but if you've been trying for 2 months then I guess he hung it up.
I am glad that I could order all that I did last year from him (especially the stuff ainsty isn't making yet, like the Hogs) but I still need some stuff, mortar jeeps for example as he is the only one who makes them.

Moe the Great15 Sep 2015 7:23 a.m. PST

What scale mortar jeeps?

John Treadaway15 Sep 2015 8:32 a.m. PST

I'm assuming that Seanny Crow is talking about 1/100th as this is the 15mm forum.
