So the FR seem to be somewhat earlier period?

Lots of mail plate mix, and nail akerton mix, alot more shields even for MAA.more varied weapons, not just pole arms.

The FR range cover the whole of the HYW. So some of the armour is too early if you're looking to cover the early 1500s/mix with Perry. As a rule of thumb, look for models in white harness with, if French, perhaps the odd jupon.

Front Rank are mostly 14th century, the Perry HYW to date are Agincourt era in the early to mid-15th century. I heard they might produce some 14th century figures down the line, however.
