It would be a mixture of both of traditional and the current style

Sensationalist fiction aside, the tongs tended to eschew traditional Chinese dress in favor of more Western styles, though often acquired from second hand dealers and thus several years (or decades) behind the then current fashions.

They are by obelisk and sadly out of production. Painted by the talented "orctrader"
