Sorry, those are handsome beasts; I suppose you don't share the love of the 'brick' that I have.

As much work as you've said you put into the 'windows', they ARE disappointing, though. I think I'll leave the lights out.

For the windows, try using a black or dark gray, then painting the yellow over most of it. It gives a better contrast and creates the image of a window frame.

If I might suggest using window decals? Tennshington decals sells them as part of a battle damage/window decal sheet. It's not on their order form, but if you email them they can probably help you out.

Mine look like this (low resolution copy so they don't get upset about me posting a picture of their decals that people might print at home instead of buying it).

But I have to say, just "no way" would I try to put in the windows. *Cpt, just looking at the number of, is enough for me to understand why you say your "sick of windows". I can only imagine how quickly that became Very monotonous work.

And personaly, even though Im not into the game (yet). I do wish they had a "cruiser sqaudron" set, w/out the frigates. I like and understand the reason for them, but I do like a good (short / bloody) cruiser on cruiser clash from time time.

And I agree w you *Cpt, the USNC heavy carrier looks awesome in its own right. Hmm, being plastic, I wonder if she would be a good for conversion to a BC or a CVL?
