So I unboxed some models from Bergstrom recently, and posted up a review of them on the PFM blog: link SPOILER: I was pleased. |

The Banshee up close looks awesome. "This one is obviously inspired by the Star Trek "Birds of Prey," but only superficially resembles them." Looks awesome, indeed, and could be a bit of a mashup. Maybe Hawk from Buck Rogers, The Season I Hated. ;->= Doug Edit: Just let me say, decades ago, my first couple of orders from Mr. Bergstrom were a real travail. No website, he could be VERY difficult to track down, list and images almost impossible. You've NO idea how lucky you are! *lol* Of course, in those days, any figs that actually looked like spaceships seemed mere illusions. AND, we had to walk to school uphill, both ways! |

Nice review, thanks! Actually the beauty of my Versi-Base(tm) system for the fleet-scale fighters is in the flexabilty of mounting what you want and being able to remove them for attrition, as well as never needing to worry about them while packing/unpacking/handling because the rubber flexes so they are much less likely to get damaged or fall off of the mounting pin. |

I can see where that would be useful. It might not work for me because of my basing requirements. Because I need to match up fighter groups with their inertia markers, all my bases are numbered. Zoom in on the Chaos fighters in this picture for an example (they're the purple ones):

Also: thanks, yourself. Having good product to write nice things about makes it easier to keep posting. |
