Very simple technique and VERY effective! Save a megaton of money instead of buying the expensive, pre-made resin ones!

That's pretty nifty. Gives me an idea to try out. Could use some foam for the wall and for the individual bricks I could put some flocking gel over them to give them an even more realistic textured surface.

Happy for that my friend!.

Nice result and simple straightforward method. I was thinking rather than white gluing bits of card, self-adhesive thick card or thin foam might speed things up. But maybe the method isn't as fiddly as it seems once you get going.

Yeah, of course you could use self adhesive card or foam if you prefer, I just used PVA and card as it was cheap!
The method could easily be adapted to many ways of texturing/covering the sections.
The quickest way I think, is using textured wallpaper, but since I did most of my sections the card/pva way, i wanted them to match each other in style.
I hope the article has given you some ideas for your own builds (don't forget to post some pics if you do!)

I'm planning on visiting my local wall paper shop, to check out some sample books. I tried looking online, but you can't really get much of an idea on the texture, from a 2D image… Textured wall paper, in the online catalogs, is anywhere from $30 USD-$80 per roll, so it may not be very economical, unless you are mass producing some terrain. Thanks for sharing! Cheers!

Yeah, its better going to a place they sell the paper, as they always give a lot larger sample pieces (and they are a lot cheaper than the swish online vendors too)
Make sure you check out their bargain bins and ask them if they have any messed up and damaged rolls lurking in the back (they will let you have them for next to nothing)
:)
