I made some progress on not one, but TWO separate DBA armies today.

First, I started base preparations on my 15mm Aztec army, and realized I was missing a Psiloi element. I had one miniature already painted from an army expansion from years ago, and it was quick work to paint up a second one to match. Now I just need to let the basing layer 1 cure overnight, I can apply sand tomorrow.

Second, I finished the Cavalry General element for my 28mm Achaemenid Persians. This may not seem like a big deal, but Persians seem to demand individual paint jobs. And while I do paint by the ekement, I am still essentially painting individual figures. I think the Immortals will go faster!

Anyways, it is nice to see things coming together. Sometimes long periods of not painting, coupled with slow-painting projects, can allow a little bit of despair to creep in. But I am pumped right now to get this things finished!

Good on yer! Its nice to get that buzz from finishing up projects. I think we all stall from time to time I know I do, but finishing stuff I think is one of the best motivaters going. Hope that pumped up feeling lasts! There is no feeling like it!
