Take a look at eBay. Tons of 1/35 stuff goes unsold or for very low bids all the time. If you can score cheap shipping, it might be your best bet. This is a relatively new subReddit:
reddit.com/r/modelexchange You could try posting a "wants" ad. I'm sure there are guys who have partial builds and boxes of bits they'd part with cheaply. I sold some here on the Marketplace and when I found out he was kit bashing, I tossed in a bunch of stuff from my spares box! |

Search under "1/35, lot" on the various eBay models pages (Military, Land, Tanks) and you'll find much kitbashing and/or partially built stuff going for big savings. |
