Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes naked or nearly naked females in 6mm? Before you decide that I'm a micro pervert I'll tell you what I tend to do with them. Andre and I have built something like 30+ 1/500th plastic sailing ships mostly based on the Heller Superbe and Airfix Victory, with a few Shannons thrown in for good measure. We're now busy converting (shortening to 64s,lenghtening to 80s and adding and removing gundecks for smaller and bigger vessels)another 25 ships, mostly more Heller Superbes. Hoverer, to differentiate the models we intend to give them different figure heads. I've already successfully integrated some Baccus 6 figures – mostly Romans and Celts and ordered a handful of the Irregular creatures (Dragons, Hydras, Demon Bats, Minotaurs, Unicorn, Pegasus and Eagles) But many of the ships of that era seem to have figure heads of naked or semi-naked females. Hence the question. At a pinch smallish 10mm figures might work as well I guess? Thanks very much for any advice! |

I'm not sure that I've seen that many naked women as figureheads on warships but have you tried Preiser rail road figures? |

Want to see the ones we've already built ( and played with)? link The conversions for this year are very much a WIP but I'll upload a few pictures too. |

Those ships do make for a beautiful game! I also admire the woodwork on the bases. Just brainstorming here: Hasslefree makes 28mm figures normally, but their children are as small as 14mm. This makes me wonder if you might be able to find 10mm or 15mm children that would be useful for your project. Presumably you won't have an entire fleet with naked ladies for figure heads: some will be converted into mermaids, for example. I suppose you've already done Poseidon or Triton (nude male conversions). Grelber |

Thanks very much! Yes, Mermaids, Sirens, Naiads and Dryads are high on the list! These are in fact the – almost- naked females I'm aiming for. Just found that Rapier Miniatures has a Greek Myth range in 6mm with an excellent looking Medusa,Chimera, Griffon and Harpy! @ Grelber. Neptune was the very first figure I made from a Roman officer with a standard converted into a trident |

Had a look at Preiser 1/160 scale bathing figures ? |

They may make N-scale bathing nudists. I know I've seen some in a catalog, but can't recall if they were N or HO scale. I suspect probably available as both, from German manufacturers of model railroading figures. |

Willie, they are 10mm, and they are Dryads, but these could work: link Let me know if they are of use, I owe you a lot of favours. Nic EUREKA MINIATURES |
