"How do I find a TMP member?" Topic

I want to go to a member's profile page so I can Endorse them as a Fair Trader, but how do I find a specific person on TMP if I don't know him already from a discussion board or from any PMs? We did our correspondence via regular email, so I don't know what his TMP name is exactly, altho' he tells me it's Cullenjd -- but I don't see any such name in the Rhode Island list of members, link

If you bought something from the Marketplace Boards, his original post should still be there.

You can also try "author search" on any of the Message Boards

There's no Cullenjd username on TMP.

(If you click on anyone's username you'll see the URL for their profile page ends in their username – typing that one in gets no such page.)

I do what Chris Palmer suggests. Search for the user name as author of posts on all message boards. Any post I find gives me access to a link to his information page, where I can endorse him.

I had the same problem, and sometimes could not always remember which Marketplace they listed in: miscellaneous, 17 century, excetera.

This idea won't help you now, but in the future you can bookmark the listing.

Then just go back to your bookmarks when you want you endorse as a fair trader.

Log out, log in and use a name beginning with C plus your password. Your log in will fail, but you will get a list of suggestions from the C category.

I do not see the name 'Cullenjd' there.

I have a more accurate user name now, I think, so will poke around as best I can, thanks to all for the tips and help!
