For anyone who has trouble with the concept, Rodney Dangerfield is total immersion in self-deprecating humor. I don't think they do this in south Asia or east Asia, where the culture is all about respect. But someone more familiar could correct me. I think I have shocked and baffled some people I know with this kind of humor. They can't handle it from the old man who is the boss. |
