Looking to start eastern front ww1 in 15mm. What ranges are out there and what thoughts on quality comparability?

So far I have found
Peter pig – small range, my fav figure producer, but no cavalry
Minifigs – dated figures, but does include cavalry, but limited poses
Eureka – nice figures but small range, also expensive here in UK and no cavalry
Lancashire games – looks ok range, prices good but reviews suggest 18mm not 15mm so not compatible with others.

Have I missed any? Are there other, non ww1 ranges that can happen fill gaps, especially cavalry, or other nations that could be used?

Thanks

Irregular do some- including cavalry and should be mixable with Piggies.

Check out the Peter Pig early war French dragoons (mounted and dismounted) as a substitute for AH dragoons.

Lancashire I was really hopeful for but their 18s are as big as Airfix/HaT 20mm.

QRF also has some figure and some great artillery and vehicles.

I have thought about this a few times over the years. I would lean towards PP and Irregular for compatability with a large selection.

Pendraken also has a 10mm line. It has A-H, Russians, and a few packs of Serbs for the East.

Thanks all. Will have to be 15mm rather than 10mm. The French cavalry option looks good.

Are you doing early war (1914-15) or later? In this scale, German figures in helmets (M1916 stalhelm) will serve as Austro-Hungarians for later war scenarios.

I think earlier, Germans in picklehaub and the shako style cap for the Austrians appeal
