He turned up in my collection from, I'm guessing, at least 25 years ago. It was definitely from GW's red era (isn't it obvious?) Anyhow, can anyone id who produced this piece?

Actually, now that you mention it, although based for Warhammer Fantasy Battles, I don't think it was an official Citadel model… maybe. I'm not ruling anything out.

Actually that is a model from RAFM miniatures. Currently packaged in the Black Death Chiefs RAF04492 blister. It's been out in one form or another since the early 90's.
