But, we are the TMP!

We will sit here, mindlessly slinging slurs like monkeys in the trees, slinging… er… slurs. (Never know WHAT that thing will bleep.)

Thanks, KM! Having just missed the sale, I dread to see what I've missed.

Doug

Edit: Doubly thanks! See what you mean about 'stiff.' Fine fellows I could use, and rationalize, but not falling head-over-heels. As for you, rabbit… ;->=

Ook.

I think this is the first time I have seen these figs not painted. They look pretty nice.

kallman23 Jul 2015 9:16 p.m. PST

Wow those are nice and may be a nice substitute for games of Valor & Steel & Flesh since the Parooms figures are not being made anymore.

KSmyth24 Jul 2015 6:23 a.m. PST

Those are nice. I might have to give them a try.

Doug – these would probably mix well with RAFM Canal Martian Artillerists, who share a similar pose. creating a stand of Martian pikemen.

Kallman – pity about the Parroom minis. What's up with that?

Ook indeed.

kmfrye, I do not know what the full story is. I know that the majority of the Parroom minis are gone from Brigade Games website and only the war skiff miniatures are there. There was a rumor that Bob Cherret(sp?) did not want to produce them anymore. Take that statement with a grain of salt. I do not know if has anything to do with Bob's health or if there is some other issue. If anyone talked to Lon at Historicon of if Lon sees this message maybe he will be at liberty to let us know what is going on. I loved those Parrom minis and have many of them. There were others I still wanted to purchase when I got back to doing VSF. Ah well I will have to find alternatives.

Truly; I would have said 'are not available anymore.'

Reports indicated that both parties were not getting enough communication to know what was happening.

Having seen such in ventures before, I fight mightily to ignore any judgement. Too oft grievances are purely from a lack of understanding at the front end, and difference of view point.

We ALL know what happens when we assume…

@kmfrye Good poiint! I do have a metric b-load of the RAFM… ;->=

Verbum sapienti. I hope someone will step in and bring these back into production.

I'd love to see the Parroom back in production as well. I've been trying to discover what happened, but gently. I've no idea, to be honest, but I didn't ever get the impression that there was a bad blood sort of break there.

And I certainly hope that Bob's health is good. I've played several games with Bob over the years and he's a good 'un.
