Here you are, lads (and ladies), my thrilling, seat of my pants narrative of the events that transpired between 15-19 July 2015, at the HISTORICON miniature wargame convention!

Picture from S-450 RIDE THAT FURY ROAD! GM Walt O'Hara, officially the LAST game ran on Saturday night, and entirely within the convention's historical theme. I had to have been insane to start at 10PM.

Anyway, thanks for reading!

Thank you for the honest observations about the inside air quality, noise levels, flea infestation and traffic.
You photos of the games were very interesting.

We dropped by as the table was getting set up and chatted a bit with Walt.

Table looked great and the vehicles, well, you really need to see the vehicles in person – very, very, cool. Lots of custom additions and detailing.

Agree the air quality on Friday was pretty bad – you could see a haze in the main auditorium and the whole placed smelled like the inside of a BBQ grill.

An excellent report. Overall my impressions were similar, except for the biting bugs. I did not experience them or take any notice. I was not bit. I did spend about 20 hours in the main hall over two days. As far as the HVAC working it's butt off, I think it did OK. Especially considering what it was like outside.
Next year maybe I'll stay closer to the site. Driving back and forth every day and dealing with congested traffic (highway construction) did become tedious.
