Does anyone have suggestions on how to do a convention game using Mighty Armies?

Is it as simple as putting three players to a side, each with a "standard" sized army?

That is how we play when we play multi-player just goofing around…..

I've always wanted to try something like this:

Use a round table. Start 6 armies at the edge with a treasure in the middle. Use a simple game like DBA or Mighty Armies. For fun, make the treasure something fun the winner gets to keep – candy coins or something similar.

Could be a real hoot!

It works great. Just have each side roll one dice to determine initiative or perhaps all three and add the scores together. Then whichever side has initiative rolls separately for their divisions of the army (each division being at 40 pts).
