link Thanks for all the interest in the first part of the AAR / Scenario for our WW2 Naval Med Campaign. As always I've included all the info you would need to play along. We left our intrepid convoy bound for Tripoli, after surviving a night time attack the dawn breaks and with it the prospect of air and sea attacks, sailing south east of Syracuse RN ships are sighted, Battle Stations. Regards, Ken |

I am so looking forward to Game 3! I really like the idea of using mapping pins mounted on hex bases for 1/600 aircraft – they seem to give just the right height to make the forced perspective work. Reckon that's an idea I'll magpie, though I'll probably have blue bases to blend in (I see you've gone for clarity with the sqn and flight details on yours). Cheers for the inspiration then Ken – young Henry's nagging me to get some of our Italians painted up as he fancies some 'heavy metal' as a change from our recent destroyer and cruiser actions so I'll be interested to see what's coming over the horizon… Nick |

Cheers Nick, The planes don't belong to me but are from other players Check your Six collections, they do look nice and would look better with Blue bases, I have asked. Game 3 is on Thursday so it shouldn't be too long. Regards Ken yarkshiregamer.blogspot.co.uk |

Well, you did get me inspired! Put the base coat on the Italian heavy cruisers and battleships tonight. I don't think I'll have them finished for the weekend, but you never know… |

Hi Attackcamel, Its a home brew set from about 25 years ago which still keep us amused. I am working on a WW1 version at the moment and will post them on my blog at some stage towards the back end of this year, the WW2 set needs a bit of work before releasing to the world but if there is enough interest after the WW1 set are up I may consider putting those up as well. Glad you enjoyed the write up, as I type this we have just finished game 3 which went with a bang ! I will put a report up soon. All set now for tye Grand Finale, Game 4 Showdown.
