The second battle in the Vicksburg Campaign (All Quiet on the Martian Front).

Further, if you're going to GenCon this year, my buddy Bill will be running a massive game as part of the Vicksburg Campaign.

Enjoy!

Thanks! That is a great game report.

And yes, there is actually a town called Panther Burn in the Mississippi Delta, ( tinyurl.com/ohfg7uk ) called that for the many panthers found when the cane brakes were burned off to make farm land. It is three miles northwest of Nitta Yuma.

We also have a Buck Snort, Chunky, and Hot Coffee.

Great game and great report! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it over lunch.

Glad you folks are enjoying the campaign. There's plenty more to come!

ColCampbell – are you native to the Delta? I'm trying to do the region justice (within the limits of my terrain), to the point of checking out google street view when planning the scenario. Personally, I hope it turns out that we can play the "Battle of Hot Coffee" or the "Battle of Chunky" just to confuse everyone.

Very well done.
