From a friend: All, I am sorry to bother anyone with this request but I would like to ask your assistance in recovering a hat that I lost at Historicon on Friday evening. It is a black baseball cap with a US Eagle logo saying "US Embassy Tbilisi Georgia" on it. I left the hat in Ballroom A, table 15 on Friday evening after playing an ECW game with Eric and Scott Gray and some other folks. They told me that they saw the hat later when they were packing up and did not know that it was mine so they left it sitting on the table. The game on the next table was an 18 feet long Roman vs Germans game if that offers any orientation to the location. I am not sure who was setting up on table 15 the next morning but a fellow by the name of Bob Moon was mentioned. I am trying to contact him to see if he might have picked up or seen my hat. As you can imagine the hat has sentimental value only as it was given to me after I served as a military advisor in Georgia in 2004-2007. PLEASE pass this along to anyone that you know and/or to club web sites so that it gets full dissemination. Perhaps then someone will locate the hat. I am offering a reward of one of my Architectural Heritage buildings to anyone that finds the hat. Thanks! Dave Paddock |
