I got home today to find the new PSC Great War board game waiting for me (it's been there since Tuesday, but I was working away). So in this new blog post, I present a box opening!

Thanks for reading!

Me too. PSC sent out an e-mail today talking about the shipping issues they have been having.

Looks great – what scale are the figures? Are all the artillery and vehicles in same scale as figures?

Royston Papworth18 Jul 2015 5:04 a.m. PST

WW, the figures and artillery are 15mm. As I understand it, the tanks, when they arrive, will be in 15mm too.

Bellbottom18 Jul 2015 5:40 a.m. PST

Hurrah, ONE pack of 15mm German infantry arrived on their own today (strange), no sign of the two boxed games or the extra British infantry or both sides artillery. Still it's a start.

Received mine last week. Great stuff. Bags of artillery and extra scenario sheet were outside the box…which was just as well as the box is really crammed full of stuff as it is.

Thanks, waiting for a reply from Will on the kickstarter email. German infantry look splendid.

Mine arrived last week, but the plastic the figures are made from is extremely brittle; because of this there were several figures on each British sprue with broken/missing rifle barrels or bayonets, and one gunner missing an arm. Despite the utmost care removing them from the sprue, several more barrels and bayonets snapped off. The German sprues (not having fixed bayonets)fared better. I am hoping the figure sets will be available for purchase separately as I already need replacements!
