I just hosted a lovely gaming weekend at my home in sunny Quebec City. Come take a look at the article I posted detailing the planning that went into the event, and stay tuned for a couple more articles focusing on games of Bolt Action and Battle Captains.

Come take a look: link

Thanks man, didn't format the original post correctly!

Dear Feel the Rain

Excellent! You have remembered the first rule of war gaming-- a war game marches on the gamers stomach'! Any game liberally lubricated with food, beverage and fun will succeed. I've been doing this for years. Glad it worked well for you!

Of course the games were great too. Congratulations.

Wow, I'd go just for the food.

I'm thinking of crashing next years event. I'll bring artisanal bread, various types of chevre, and some Lac Brome duck. Now if I can only figure out where you live. wink

Alas there seems to be no historical gaming community in this great city. A shame really.

So, could I hire you and your wife to come to sunny southwestern Ontario…

Great idea, inspiring!

My summer highlight is a weekend of gaming and good food with good friends. But this definitely raises the bar!!

Gee Wiz I offer all that I would have a tough time getting the guys to go home!

It looks like 5 of your guys can be relied upon to prepare meals. That's rare.
