Hi all, I have just finished the first battalion of my second French regiment, the 96e Ligne as part of a Talavera project requiring eight such regiments.
The 96e Ligne have an interesting pedigree starting out as one of the many foreign raised units to grace the Bourbon army. The regiment was a very experienced veteran one by the time it marched into Spain. If you would like to know more then just follow the link to JJ's link Jonathan |

Thanks chaps, I really appreciate your comments. I was trying out a new technique on the lapels and waistcoats and was quite pleased with the way they turned out. It should certainly speed up the paint job with, I think, an improved look. Hi Colin, I see you have been turning them out. I find the more I do of a type, things get quicker as I get familiar with the layout. I think the change in technique will help as well. Keep em coming! Cheers JJ |
