An alternative to the unit sizes has been posted on the Telford Wargames Club blog. Here is a link to it: telfordwargames.wordpress.com I would be interested in hearing comments on the modification |

Wouldn't it be simpler to just use a stand of 2-4 figure to represent one "figure" in the rules? |

Gobemouche – that may be simpler but it means that the elites take one hit and 25% of the figures disappear off the board. Also my figures are all singularly based so under my method I don't have to re-base. I think your suggestion would work, it just doesn't meet my objective. |

I should point out elites are not that easy to "kill". And please the only time you have a 2 figure unit of elites is if they are cavalry. Also you can combine units into larger ones so two – 4 figure elite units can be combined into an 8 figure unit. The maximum unit size in the game is 12 so you combine 3three units. Private Matter has sent me ides on the new unit sizes and i will review and post on my site on a few days. many thanks again to him. Chris P. |
