We played a game of Clash on the Fringe, using 40k miniatures. Fringe works very well in the 40k universe (I only added a couple special rules to Grimdarkify the game) and the game was a hoot. Foul Chaos Space Marines failed in their attempt to seize a ruined Imperial temple, but the local Imperial Guard suffered heavily defending the holy site. A fuller write-up, plus the stats we used in the game and lots more pictures, are my blog, here. link

I see some nice "old school" minis: Praetorians, Mordians, the original Nork Deddog and 2nd ed. Plague Marines. |

Nice report – great terrain with the stained glass and love to see those "Old School" Guard – very colourful uniforms on the Praetorians Must try out the rules |

That's inspiring stuff. I was statting up a friend's Space Wolves last night for him to use against my "Jury". He hates 40k but loves some of the Wolf fiction. Did you use the CotF points system? Our take on the Marines will reflect the super soldiers fluff so we are going for Elite Assassins. Your pics have got me really fired up for it! |

Nice report and terrain. I 've read the rules, but have yet to get a game using them. They look great. |
