One of the things that attracted me to plastics was being able to paint things like heads and backpacks and attach later. Normally, I use hot glue (metals) or blue tack (plastics) to attach the models to nails, which then get stuck in Styrofoam blocks. For the heads, I used finishing nails and attached with blue tack. To make it secure, I had to push the heads into the blue stuff, which covered more area than I wanted. Also, getting paint on it, meant I had to scrape it off the bottom of the head. What do people use for these small items? I can't think of anything that will stick securely in such a small area, without being difficult to get off (super glue, for example). thanks! jeff |

I use brass wire CA'ed into a cut piece of dowel; corresponding hole drilled into bottom of head. Set up 12 of them. Saves having to deal with Blu-tak or any other adhesive. |
