Anything in roughly classic age of pirates? Colonial american or even spanish southwest? If nothing else even 15mm wild west. I have looked at my normal 28mm places and been very disapointed. anybody have any suggestions? |

I bought some Italian buildings from Miniature Building Authority to stand in as proxies for Spanish, so I wonder whether these might work: link They look OK and are pre-painted (which I am starting to appreciate more as time goes by), but are definitely a true 15mm scale as opposed to the 20mm buildings the group I game with utilises to suit our larger 18mm figures. Also, the roofs don't lift off as such, but the building does open up such that the base becomes a ruin, which is not really my thing for Napoleonic scenarios but may suit WWII gaming as opposed to pirates. They also have some "Americana" buildings: link |

I have a number of 28mm MBA and love all of them. I had not thought of them for 15mm. Probably out of my proice range at the moment, but someday…… Thanks for pointing them out |

Hovels' Peninsula range is great for buildings on the Spanish Main. link Here's an example:

I'm with Plutarch. The MBA Italian buildings are really good as pirate buildings. Oddly they seem to have removed them from their website at the moment. |

If you're playing on a British island you can use Tudor buildings. Gamers tend to forget that. |

Certainly I never thought of that. I prefer MDF to resin, maybe i need to go back and relook some of my normal companys. the problem is that 15mm is just not as well covered for buildings as 28mm. I might wind up with 15mm wild west for some things Many thanks to all owen |

Well if you prefer MDF over resin look at Crescent Root's selection. I acquired their resin lines but their MDF stuff is fantastic. link

Harbor look for 28mm paper card stock and mount on poster board OF course after you reduce print to 65% or 60%. I use 18mm figs so I reduce to 68%. |
