Ok, so I started some more plastic persians, this time as sparabara for my DBA army. I noticed the archers in the second rank seemed to be shooting the first rank shield bearers in the back of the head. So I am finally glad they each have that thick base, I was able to bevel it so the archers are leaning slightly to the right, and trimmed the left arm attachment so they are shooting a little up instead of straight. Both of these combined now have my archers shooting over the shield bearers heads. Sorry, no pictures. When I have them painted, I will post some so y'all can see what I mean. |

good work. look forward to seeing them. I remember mentioning this when the pre-production images were first shown. |

I just sanded the arm to reposition no problem. Those WGF Persians are good value and do paint up nice. Need to get more. Wish they would do a 'finisher' box to make heavy cav, generals, imortals and the like. The cavalry horses are really nice too. Cheers PR happy making and painting |

Handy suggestions. The WGF figures are fine and it would be great if they would broaden the range as noted above. I have used the infantry as later Persian Kardakes, peltasts and skirmishers. Finished the cavalry as mediums without bows. Look forward to the finished product. Garry |
