"ISIS is beginning to extend its influence into Afghanistan, but the Obama administration no longer is giving the country priority, and the 10,000 American troops that remain are feeling abandoned, a U.S. intelligence officer has told Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin

The officer, who is stationed in Afghanistan and has requested anonymity for security reasons, paints a bleak picture in a war zone that is apparently all but forgotten after an investment of more than $1 USD trillion by the U.S.

There simply aren't enough active-duty U.S. reservists or National Guard personnel in Afghanistan to complete the mission, he contends.

Let 'Afghan-ization' run its course………….reigious, political and tribal factions and divisions will leave another 'non-state' on the map………….
Same to be said for 'Iraqization' and the mess in Libya, Somalia and South Sudan……….

It's not like there was a functional state on the map before the US invaded.

We should have pulled all troops out of Afghanistan & Iraq the day after we got OBL.

Can't really blame them.

A shame we never ran across the border from Afghanistan like someone said he'd do, in order to hunt down the jihadis wherever they exist.

Another opportunity lost, so I suspect it is past time to bring them home.

Hopefully, if we can sneak out of A-stan quickly, that would embolden the Russians to try and move back in.
