Did the bot sing a marching song afterwards?

He said initial conclusions indicate that human error was to blame, rather than a problem with the robot

… which would have been a problem with the people installing, moving, configuring, building, maintaining, and doing safety checks on the robot, thus still human error.

Call in Dr. Susan Calvin to find out why the robot did it.

So, the machines have learned how to shift blame…

You people do realize, someone died?

Der Krieg Geist04 Jul 2015 11:57 a.m. PST

The first issue is the blatant and deliberate misuse of language . The robot did not kill anyone. It is an inanimate object and incapable of intent or blame. His interaction with a machine that should not have been energized while humane were in proximity of it is the cause of his unfortunate demise. This poor gentleman has died as the result of a piece of equipment being mishandled or a malfuction. Surely little reason for humor.

That would be"humans"

That's the third robot-related death in the car industry in 10 years.

Compared to about 12 deaths through the use of other tools in the same industry in the same time.

I think the Wrenches are still in charge.

You do realise that there is a planet in our solar system entirely populated with robots don't you.
